It all begins with an idea. We will discuss where and how these images will be used, why you need them, and what your vision is. Then we can build on your vision and figure out the logistics of the shoot including wardrobe, styling, location, etc.

Due to scheduling difficulties, I encourage you to arrive photo-ready. You are more than welcome to bring someone along to assist with the styling during the shoot but please have all styling needs taken care of prior to arrival to ensure efficient use of our time. However, if we can schedule accordingly, I do have a stylist that I like to work with.

Many factors can determine the delivery time. My clients typically receive photos no later than 6-8 days after the shoot. They can arrive earlier but I don’t like to rush the final product.

I have a few options for delivery that we can discuss at the time of scheduling, whatever is easiest for you works for me.

You are free to use your images as your wish. However, you are not permitted to sell the images or publish them without prior consent from James Elledge Photography LLC. If this is something you wish to discuss I’m sure we can come up with a mutually agreed upon contract.

Trust me, you don’t want to. There will always be images taken that are not useful to you, the client, or my portfolio. It is very important for both of us that only the best images from our shoot are available for public viewing.

I understand life can get crazy, if this is the case you cancel our appointment no later than 5 days prior to the shoot date, and reschedule no later than 3 days (72hrs) prior to our shoot time. If these changes happen outside of this time frame you will forfeit your deposit.

You will receive an email with a link to a person and private online gallery with images you are able to download.

I do not. I prefer to shoot on a location that will benefit the story your photos tell.

I do everything I can to stay on top of the weather forecast to ensure success. However, if there is inclement weather, we will have a plan B lined up. If it doesn’t work out for us, you will have the choice to reschedule at no additional charge or receive a refund minus 50% of the deposit. A lot of time, effort, and planning go into making it all happen.

In order to secure your time and date there will be a $200 deposit required at the time of scheduling.
